Our mission is to minister to men who are currently or formerly incarcerated whose lives and families have been broken. We help them put the pieces back together by offering a second chance and hope. Our programs are designed to build responsibility and accountability in all areas of their lives, as well as address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We provide a supportive community where good choices and milestones are celebrated. At Second Hope, we see lives being changed, eternal destinies being altered, and men being restored in their relationships with their families and with God. Reaching the lost and making disciples is at the heart of our ministry.
Our Vision
Our Vision is to impact and transform the lives of as many incarcerated and newly released men as possible. To achieve this objective, we have numerous projects on the horizon, including opening new transition houses, strengthening and expanding existing programs, developing innovative and effective curriculum, and obtaining strong community partnerships. We work toward this Vision by inviting people to be a part of a community centered around Christ and recovery. With like minds, we encourage faith, hope, love and accountability in all our affairs. To achieve our Vision, we continually seek support for our program and housing expansions by encouraging community involvement and giving to our ministry. Through these collective efforts, it inspires these men to lead more productive lives, which in turn strengthens communities at large.
