To deliver the hope of Jesus to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, helping them rebuild their lives, restore relationships, and return to society with purpose and dignity. Our programs are designed to build responsibility and accountability in all areas of their lives, as well as address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We provide a supportive community where good choices and milestones are celebrated. At Second Hope, we see lives being changed, eternal destinies being altered, and men and women being restored in their relationships with their families and their faith. Reaching people where they are and walking with them toward a better future is at the heart of our work.
Our Vision
Our Vision is to impact and transform the lives of as many incarcerated and newly released men and women as possible. To achieve this objective, we have numerous projects on the horizon, including expanding our women’s ministry by opening a women’s transition house, opening new transition houses, strengthening and expanding existing programs, developing innovative and effective curriculum, and obtaining strong community partnerships. We work toward this Vision by inviting people to be a part of a community centered around Christ and recovery. With like minds, we encourage faith, hope, love and accountability in all our affairs. To achieve our Vision, we continually seek support for our program and housing expansions by encouraging community involvement and giving to our ministry. Through these collective efforts, it inspires these men and women to lead more productive lives, which in turn strengthens communities at large.
